Five Things You Must Do To Conquer

That Which

Stands Between You And Wealth

Personal success

Napoleon Hill the author of the classic, Think and grow rich wrote, “Do not wait; the time will never be just right. Start where you stand and work with whatever tools you may have at your command and better tools will be found as you go along.” No matter where you are right now, you can start from there. No matter how little the amount of money you have in your pocket is, it is enough to start something.

Genghis Khan started by convincing one person to fight for him and before he knew it, he had amassed countless number of fighters for his campaigns. Rosa Parks started by refusing to give up her sit and before she knew it, segregation was no more. J.K. Rowling started by writing one word and before she knew it, she had written the fastest bestselling series books in the world Harry Potter. People will follow you when they see that you are not joking. They will take you serious when you take it serious.

Before she put pen to paper, J.K. Rowling had no money, had no connection, in fact she was as broke as that poor beggar you see on the street. This was how she described her nightmarish condition. “I was jobless, a lone parent, and as poor as it is possible to be in modern Britain.” She started with just a pen and paper but today, her series of seven books have since sold more than 450 million copies, won innumerable awards, and been made into movies. Starting with just a pen and a paper, Rowling is today one of the richest women in the world and the richest author ever. She has inspired countless number of people all over the world and she is no doubt a role model to many.

Remember, in life nothing is too small or too big to start. The 26th United States president Theodore Roosevelt has an advice for you, “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are” All those times you folded your arms to complain, to cast aspersions on life, to accuse your country leaders, to engage yourself in unproductive activities are wasted and gone forever. What matters is now. Don’t make the mistake to let this moment slip away because you can never find it ever again in your life. Yesterday was the best time for you to plant a tree, but your second best time is now. Grab this golden opportunity and make the most of it.

Don’t wait till tomorrow. Remember, there are no historians in the grave. Benjamin Franklin said, “If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worth reading or do things worth writing.” Don’t wait for anyone to give you money before you start that business you have in mind. Start with the little you

have. Most of the self-made billionaires you hear of today started with little or nothing. According to the young Pakistani activist and noble laureate Malala Yousafzai, “Let us remember: one book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world.”

You can use whatever tool you have at hand to change your life’s story and even the world. If it is a pen get a paper and start to use it. If it is an idea, start to carry out research and experiment. Don’t wait for anyone assistance because if you do, it means you are not ready to start. Remember, people are in the habit of withdrawing their assistance when they see that you are about to accomplish something big. Don’t look up to them, look up to your dream because they are likely to disappoint you.

If Genghis Khan had relied on friends to convince fighters for him, before he embarked on his campaigns, he would have waited forever. If JK Rowling had waited for someone to write the first chapter of Harry Potter for her, she would have still be waiting. Robert Kiyosaki an American businessman and author of the book Rich Dad Poor Dad wrote, “If you are the kind of person who is waiting for the right thing, you might wait for a long time, it’s like waiting for all the traffic lights to be green for five miles before starting the trip.”

Stop Talking and Start Doing

The father of cartoon, Walt Disney, made us to understand that the way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing. "Be content to act and leave the talking to others." To use the phrase of a Wiseman. The world is not looking for talkers but doers. You see, when you talk too much before you do a thing, you might end up being so exhausted that you might not even have the strength to do it. A roaring lion catches no prey. Poverty is more relaxed in the homes of talkative because they know how to waste their time. In fact, they entertain it. If you make every moment of your life count, you will not have the time to complain about the lack of money or worry about anything.

The first human to set foot on the moon, Neil Armstrong commented, “I believe that every human has a finite number of heart beats, and I don’t intend to waste any of mine.” No wonder he was able to travel to the moon and come back successfully. You see, with this kind of mindset, you cannot only travel to the moon but live there if you choose to. Nothing is impossible in life. If you detach your mind from the things that set boundary on people, there is no limit to how far you can go. In fact, the sky will be your starting point. Anything that delays you is your devil. You must caste it away and take your rightful place in the world. You are where you are today because you are too relaxed. Don’t be too relaxed because even the chair you rest your back on can break anytime. According to a Wiseman, “Today is the beginning of the rest of your life! You are the pilot of your life! Look in your direction; take off to it, from where you are."

Despite what other people may have told you, I want you to stand up wherever you are right now and say to yourself, “I will make it.” Say it loud to yourself! Repeat it again! This time as you say it, try to mean it with the whole of your heart. Remember to make it, one must set a goal, create plans by which to attain it, and initiates work to carry it out. Take a decision! Act immediately by following your words with action. It is important that you know that the mind is promiscuous in nature. If you don’t move into action immediately, you will wake up tomorrow to find another thought on it.

Charles Dickson a social critic and author of the famous book Oliver Twist has this advice for you, “My advice is to never do tomorrow what you can do today. Procrastination is the thief of time.” No matter the storm the world is faced with, dawn must come. No storm or wind in the world can make dawn or dusk to skip their turn. Learn from nature, it is a great teacher. If the rain delays for too long, the world starves. If the day skips its turn, we are in trouble. If the breathe we take delays, you and I know what that means. Delay is a dangerous thing. It is dangerous to our environment, dangerous to our climate, dangerous to our dreams, and dangerous to our lives.

A man that sleeps in his house cannot say he is on a journey. According to an old Chinese proverb, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” It is only when you have taken that first step you can say you are on a journey. It is only when you have planted a seed; you can talk of harvesting it. One-step starts a journey. One word starts a prayer. Success begins with an effort. In the words of one of the most influential humanitarian the world has ever known, mother Teresa, “Peace begins with a smile.” There is a first step to everything. The first step you take is the beginning of your journey. Take your first step now! Sign up to get this hot new release self-improvement audiobook below.

No matter how good the reasons you have to delay, it can never start a journey for you and it can never make you successful. Michael Jordan said, “Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.” You have what it takes to make it happen, what the hell are you waiting for. If you want to be rich, make it happen. If you want to become a president, make it happen. Anything you want to become in life, make it happen. You have that which it takes to do it. Begin today, don’t be scared of anything. The worst that can happen to you is to fail, and even if that happens as long as you do not quit, you are not defeated.

Remember, the lessons we learn from failure makes us wiser, better and stronger. In the words of Barack Obama, “You can’t let your failures define you. You have to let your failures teach you.” Do you want to know how to conquer one of man’s greatest enemy delay? If your answer is “Yes,” then answer the questions below sincerely.

. Do you feel that what you have is not enough to start?

. Do you rely on promises?

. Do you wait for people’s nods before you do something?

. Do you feel you need the grace of God or luck, to succeed in life?

. Are you afraid of failing?

1. If you answer, “Yes” to these questions, know your perception is the major tool delay uses to hold you hostage. Therefore, in order to conquer the enemy called delay, you must change your perception by distancing yourself from the crowd. In another word, begin to question those beliefs, ideas and superstitions you have long accepted as true. When you start to do this, you begin to see things clearly and before long, your perception changes.

2. Life is rich with reasons. Just as you have many reasons not to begin a race, understand that you also have many reasons to start it. Think of five reasons why you must start that thing you want to do. List them out and use them to motivate yourself.

3. Start to consider that marriage/relationship or whatsoever thing, which prevents you from taking a step as your devil. By the time you start to view anything that distract you this way, you are sure to conquer delay.

4. When you choose a job that you love, you won’t have the problem to starting. Why? You might ask. Simply because your passion to do it will overshadow every other thing. That includes fear of failure.

5. To have an in-depth understanding of what failure is, would help you conquer the enemy called delay. You can never allow the fear of failure to stop you to start a race, when you understand that we learn more from failure than from success. Yes, from the ashes of defeat comes the greatest fires of accomplishment. Fail, according to a great mind means, “First Attempt In Learning.”
