3 Ways To Activate The Mind And Use It

To Acquire Riches

When Alexander Graham Bell was a teenager, he had a fragile health and was said to be poor at schoolwork. Nevertheless, this could not get on his way because his mind was active. Little wonder, at the age of twelve he had already made his first invention. To be rich, you must activate your mind by feeding it with thoughts of possibilities. It is the thoughts; you provide your mind with that make it passive or active. Anybody with the least bit of awareness knows that money is a positive thing, and only a positive mind can create it.

You might be putting in as much efforts as anyone else but if you are not feeding your mind with the right kind of thoughts, you are only wasting your time and energy because you are not programming yourself for riches. It is significant to note that we succeed easily when we know which thoughts to give a deathblow and with which to feed our minds. Thus, a mind filled with doubts, fears and anxieties cannot accommodate positive thoughts. In fact, minds devoid of positive thoughts produces failure. Because one famous formula for success is B + B+ B +. Be positive, be positive, be positive.

When negative thoughts like doubt, fear, anxiety and worry are on the mind, it produce a frustrated, poverty stricken you. Don’t let what you are passing through occupy your mind because if you do, it would become whom you are. Any thought you accommodate for too long, finds its way into your mind factory. Your mind processes it and at the end, you become the finished work. Unsuccessful people are the products of their minds, vis-a-vis successful people. If you want to know the cause of your financial sickness, what to do is simple. Search the world of your mind, any thoughts you find on it is the cause of your financial ailment period.

Master of Kung Fu, and Asia’s most influential film actor, Bruce Lee, stated: “As you think so shall you become.” No technology in the world can help us control the negative thoughts that go through our minds. We are the technology to do this for ourselves. How to Develop and Activate Your Mind

1. Rule your mind. Leading Roman Poet, Quintus Horatius Flaccus known in English-speaking world as Horace advised, “Rule your mind or it will rule you” Before you do anything, always remember your mind belongs to you and you don’t belong to it. Remind yourself you are it master and not the other way round. By so doing, you will see you in control of your mind. In fact, it starts to obey your commands by accepting only the thoughts you nod head to.

The more you feed it with positive thoughts, the more it familiarizes with it. At a stage, when a negative thought tries to come in, even without your command, it rejects it because it would now come to know the kind of thoughts to accept and reject. In this way, you can make your mind active and succeed easily.

2. Cultivate a reading habit. The human mind is like a factory, it accepts any thought you put in it, produces it and you become the finished work. The truth is you cannot put great thoughts on the factory of your mind when you are ignorant. Alexander the Great favourite’s quote was, “Ever to be best and stand far above all others.” It was by constantly reading he came across this line in one of homers poem books and made it his guiding rule in life. He was undefeated in battle because he was always reciting it to himself and acting on it.

Thomas Edison had little or no education; but changed the way we live because he was always reading to develop his mind. Even if he was at variance with some of the things Isaac Newton stated in his book, “Principia Mathematical” the book and many more, helped to shape and activate his mind. Hero-pilot, Chesley Sullenberger has this advice for you, “Never stop investing in yourself; never stop learning.” Telephone inventor Alexander Graham Bell often went to bed voraciously reading the Encyclopedia Britannica, scouring it for new areas of interest.

If you want to know how Barack Obama became the first black United States president, he unveiled one of his secrets when he said, “Reading is important. If you know how to read then the whole world opens up for you.” Do you know that anytime you read a book you learn something new? Yes, it is true that Henry Ford had little or no education. And it is also true that he revolutionized the automobile industry. Are you wondering how he performed the wonder? Hear from the horse’s mouth, “I think that much of the advice given to young men about saving money is wrong. I never saved a cent until I was forty years old. I invested in myself-in studying, in mastering my tools.”

Famous talk show icon and billionaire, Oprah Winfrey said, “Books were my pass to personal freedom. I learned to read at age three and soon discovered there was a whole world to conquer that went beyond our farm in Mississippi.” Do you know that the more you learn is the more you earn? Your teachers or lecturers in school cannot teach you everything; there are things you must teach yourself by reading. The quickest way to become a leader is to become a reader.

Despite the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg’s tight schedule, he reads at least two books in a month. Bill Gates is an avid reader; he reads up to fifty books in a year. Reading is one of the best ways to develop and activate the mind. It has the capacity to change your thought, attitude and perception. When these deficiencies in your character changes; success is certain.

Research shows that 85% of rich people read two or more career-related, or self-improvement books per month and, in fact, it works greatly for them. A phrase you come across in a book can change your life forever.

3. Use Your Imagination to Create. The most famous artist of the Italian Renaissance Michelangelo once wrote, “I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.” One of the best ways to develop and activate the mind is through the constant use of the mindcam [imagination]. Each time you use your imagination to create, you are strengthening your mind. If you always use your imagination to travel to places no one has reached before, build empires beyond human description, print money that touches the sky, your mind familiarizes with these things and compels you to make them visible.

If you can imagine it, you can most certainly create it. Great minds such as Albert Einstein, strongly believed that even knowledge couldn’t measure up to imagination. This was how he put it, “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited, imagination encircles the world.” There is no better way to programme oneself for success than to do the things listed above. When you learn to do them, you take control of your life. Yes, when you take control of your life, transformation begins. A car on motion without a driver is no doubt heading for destruction. The day a driver takes charge of it, it is re- positioned.

The majority of people live in penury today because instead of controlling their minds, their minds control them. A house were a slave controls his master can never account for any form of progress. Negative thoughts goes and come out of your mind the way they like because you are not in control of your mind. When you don’t control the food that enters your stomach, your system imitates you and welcomes any germ that comes in. When you make your mind available to all kinds of thoughts, you will be surprised to find criminal thoughts on it one day.

Programme yourself for riches by arming your mind it with positive thoughts always. Don’t give doubt any space to enter your mind because if it enters, it will trim down your dream to an insignificant one. If your dream was to climb a mountain, it trims it down to climbing an anthill. If it was to make a million dollars before the end of the year, it trims it down to making a thousand dollars before the end of the year. If it was to dance, it trims it down to clapping.

If you want to succeed in life, you must mind the kind of thoughts you allow to enter your mind. Never ever, entertain doubts, fears and worries because they are enemies of progress. They are more dangerous than you think. In fact, they can set limit on you. A philosopher and Caesar in Roman times, Marcus Aurelius stated: “Our life is what our thoughts make it.” In the words of Siddhartha Gautama [also known as the Buddha, “the awakened one”] I live this chapter, “All that we are arises with our thoughts, with our thoughts we make the world.”
